Today we’re doing the best Christmas nails ever because they reflect my personality when it comes to Christmas. I’m going to be using a stiletto tip so on a client you’ll need to add a base coat too.I’m going to start with my base colour, two coats of Cream Cake.
I’m then going to look at my greens and pick my colours, I decided on Pony for my middle colour, Mick for my shadows and Suki for my highlights.I’m starting with the little base shape of his face and then I’ll outline and perfect the shape and add the neck in. I’ll then use Mick to map out his facial features and also use that colour very very thin to build my shadows. There’s a lot of curing involved in this look. I’ll also mix Mick with Void for an even darker shading colour. I’ll do the same for the highlights, using a detail brush to add in my highlight and mix my lighter colour with White Out.
I’m going to use Black for my details and then do the eyebrows and don’t forget to add Lust to the mouth.Once I’ve got all of the Grinch Face done, I’ll use Lust to paint the Santa suit on and then White Out to add the fur trim. I’ll mix White Out with Void to make a grey to dirty up the trim. I’ll use in the background and then gloss top coat and matte top coat.
